Citizen Airmen gather for WEPTAC
DAVIS-MONTHAN AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. – Lt. Gen. David A. Deptula, the Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, addresses a standing-room-only crowd in the base theater here to kick off the 2008 Weapons and Tactics Conference (WEPTAC) Oct. 20. The general’s keynote address set the tone for approximately 1,600 registered conference attendees. This year's theme, "Proven Capabilities--Emerging Missions," highlights the Air Reserve Component’s (ARC) look to the future force structure and new mission areas. The Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Test Center (AATC) and the 162nd Fighter Wing will host this annual event, Oct. 20 through 24 from D-M and the Arizona Air National Guard base at Tucson International Airport.
