Arizona Guard deploys to Czech Republic for Ample Strike 2018
Staff Sgt. Jacob Bonner, a 162nd Wing egress technician, Arizona Air National Guard, cleans the canopy of an F-16C Fighting Falcon at Namest Air Base, Czech Republic. Maintainers clean the aircraft canopy before each sortie to ensure the pilot has a clean line of sight while flying. Ample Strike is a Czech Republic led, multi-national live exercise that offers advanced air/land integration training to Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) and Close Air Support (CAS) aircrews. The aircraft maintenance accomplished by the maintainers enable the United States forces’ to respond quickly to support and defend our allies. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
