Air Guard retires last F-16A in service

The last F-16A in the Air Force, along with two F-16Bs are parked on the ramp at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., awaiting transfer to the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at Davis-Monthan for indefinite storage. The aircraft are being retired by the Arizona Air National Guard's 162nd Fighter Wing which now flies the more modern F-16 C and F-16D models. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. David Neve)
