New Commuting Distance Policy

The sections outlined on the map help to illustrate the 162nd Fighter Wing's new commuting distance policy boundaries. Wing members living within the inner section, tier 1, are not entitled to commuting distance entitlements. Members living within the second section, tier 2, are entitled to claim mileage for one round trip for official travel to the base. Members living outside the outer boundary are entitled to full mileage, per diem and lodging. The legally recognized city or town named as a member's home address is the basis of travel entitlements under the new policy. Boundaries outlined here are reference only and do not constitute exact boundaries between tiers.
