What kind of ice cream do you want? Sponge Bob, Batman or Bugs Bunny?

Members of the 162nd Mission Support Group at Tucson International Airport visited Los Ranchitos Elementary School in South Tucson Oct. 6 to give every student a free ice cream.

After the 162nd Fighter Wing's Family Appreciation Day, Oct. 2, the Arizona Air National Guard unit at Tucson International Airport, less than a mile from the school, had hundreds of left over ice cream popsicles.

Senior Master Sgt. Mike Soich, Tech. Sgt. Alicia Archie, Staff Sgt. Charmaine Pozo, and Senior Airman Nick Acedo from the force support squadron joined Fredrick Rodriquez from the base fire station to deliver them personally the school's 580 children.

"You have made their day," said Principal Linda Swango. "We want to thank the Air National Guard for thinking of our students. This was really special."
