TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Tucson Padres, Old Pueblo's new minor league baseball team, invited the 162nd Fighter Wing to Kino Memorial Stadium for a military appreciation game in honor of the Arizona Air National Guard, June 5.

In addition to filling the stands, wing members threw out the ceremonial first pitch, and sang the National Anthem while the honor guard presented the colors.

All Sunday evening home games at the stadium this season are military appreciation games.
