162nd Wing Retirees Office

The 162WG Retirees Office keeps retired members informed about 162nd unit events, helps members understand retirement and veteran's benefits and organizes monthly and other social events specifically for retirees. The office is generally manned by a volunteer staff on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month. Retired members are encouraged to stay connected to the unit by ensuring their name and current contact information are on our Retirees List. Retirees Events

  • Monthly Retirees Luncheon - Held the second Tuesday of each month at the Golden Corral Buffet Restaurant, 6865 N. Thornydale Rd., Tucson AZ, 11 a.m.
  • Monthly Flightline Luncheon - Held the last Monday of each month at Famous Sam's, 7129 E. Golf Links, Tucson, 12 noon.     
  • Seasonal Monthly White Mountain Retirees Breakfast - Held the second Wednesday of each month from May to September at the Picnic Basket, 436 E. White Mountain Blvd. in Pinetop, AZ., 7:30 a.m.
  • Annual White Mountain Retirees Picnic - Held in mid-June each year at Charlie Clark's Steakhouse in Pinetop, Arizona. Dates and updated details are posted in the periodic Retirees Newsletter.
