Arizona Guard deploys to Czech Republic for Ample Strike 2018

Colonel Allen Kinnison, 162nd Operations Group commander, Arizona Air National Guard, completes his pre-flight inspection of an F-16C Fighting Falcon at Namest Air Base, Czech Republic. Pilots accomplish a pre-flight inspection of each aircraft they will fly to ensure it is ready and safe for flight. Ample Strike is a Czech Republic led, multi-national live exercise that offers advanced air/land integration training to Joint Terminal Attack Controllers (JTACs) and Close Air Support (CAS) aircrews. The forward presence of the 162nd Wing, Arizona Air National Guard aircraft and Airmen in Europe allows the United States to work closely with our allies and partners to develop and improve interoperobility and maintain regional security.
