Brig. Gen. Andrew MacDonald, the former commander of the 162nd Wing, honored his wife's service with a medal and plaque during his retirement ceremony Jan. 10 at the Morris Air National Guard Base. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the wing held a ceremony for MacDonald’s retirement by limiting attendance to family and distinguished guests, in person, while live-streaming the event to members across base.
