Silhouetted against a Tucson morning sky on a boom lift, 162nd Wing public affairs specialists prepare for a day of photo shooting on Oct. 5, at the Tucson International Airport. The day started with a wing portrait, followed by smaller, group-level and section pictures throughout the day. “The 162nd Wing is not just an incredible team, but a close-knit family,” said Col. Phil Purcell, wing commander. “What better way to capture that spirit, and the importance of our global mission sets, than family photos.” (U.S. Air National Guard photo taken by Staff Sgt.
